TEXAS STAAR Is coming to a 3rd and 4th Grade classroom near you!
Beginning
in spring 2012, the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness
(STAAR™) will replace the Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills
(TAKS). The STAAR program at grades 3–8 will assess the same subjects
and grades that are currently assessed on TAKS.Testing Dates -
- Tuesday-Wednesday March 27-28 - 4th Grade Writing Assessment
- Tuesday April 24 - 3rd / 4th Grade Mathematics
- Wednesday April 25 - 3rd / 4th Grade Reading

Our amazing staff has been working very hard to prepare for a great year of learning and growing. Our motto this year, “One Bus, One Destination, Excellence” is all about being the driver of our own buses all headed toward the same goal of success!
One of our challenges is preparing students for the new and more rigorous state assessment, the STAAR test, and as more information comes in about this assessment we will make sure to share it with you.
