BISD summer work schedule planned

This summer, Bastrop ISD employees will be operating on a four-day work week schedule for eight weeks. The new summer work schedule begins on June 8 through the week ending on Friday, July 31. Bastrop ISD campuses and Service Center staff will be working four ten-hour days, Monday through Thursday. All offices will be closed on Fridays. The new summer hours of operation will be from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

All campuses and departments will follow this schedule except for extended year services for special education students, and their related services, including food services. Five-day regular time workweeks will resume on August 3.
