This summer, Bastrop ISD employees will be operating on a four-day work week schedule for seven weeks. The new summer work schedule begins on Monday, June 9 and will continue through the week ending Friday, August 1.

Bastrop ISD campuses and the Service Center staff will be working four, ten hour days, Monday through Thursday. All offices will be closed on Fridays. The summer hours of operation will be from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m..

During the week of Monday, June 30 through Thursday, July 3, all offices will work an eight hour day from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and will be closed on Friday, July 4.

All campuses and departments will follow this schedule except for extended year services for special education students, and their related services, including food services.

Five-day, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. workweeks will resume on Monday, August 4. For more informatin, contact the BISD Service Center at (512) 321-2292.
