Valerie Bullock received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Southwest Texas State University and a J.D. from St. Mary’s University School of Law.

Mrs. Bullock recently closed her private practice in Bastrop to join the felony division of the Bastrop County District Attorney’s office. She is a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation and a member of the College of the State Bar of Texas.

In addition to her legal career, Mrs. Bullock’s community activities include prior service as a member of the Board of Directors of the Bastrop County Children’s Advocacy Center, pianist for First Baptist Church of Bastrop (where her husband serves as the Associate Pastor), past participation as a Hand in Hand mentor and past appearances on stage at the Bastrop Opera House.

Mrs. Bullock and her husband, Bill, are the parents of two sons, James and William, both graduates of Bastrop High School.
