Ty McDonald, President


Ty McDonald is a small business owner and full-time pastor with ministry credentials through the Church of God, Anderson, Indiana. She is a graduate of Texas A&M University and holds a degree in English and Public Relations.

 

Before becoming a trustee, she served the Bastrop Independent School District as a freshman Pre-AP English teacher. She has also worked in adult education as a soft skills trainer for the Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA).

 

Ty is the wife of Bastrop County Judge, Ronnie McDonald. The couple has two daughters who attend schools within the district and a son who will be attending Pre-K.
