Welcome to Bastrop ISD

My name is Steve Murray and I am proud to be the Superintendent of Schools for the Bastrop Independent School District. Welcome to our district website and welcome to Bastrop ISD. We hope you find this website to be a resource for information and guidance, as you seek to find out more about our district, our schools and our community. We are always looking for ways to improve this website and if you have suggestions regarding the type of information needed (if not already available) or have some great ideas from other sites you have seen or may have access to, please let us know. We want to constantly update the site for your benefit.

This year we proudly proclaim, "WE are BISD!", as our unifying theme for the school district. The individual letters of BISD represent the following: B - Believe that ALL students, schools and the district will succeed. I - Innovate (be willing to change) through thought and practice for success, S - Success for ALL students is our guide post and our ultimate goal and D - Destiny is something that we should all have in mind as we work together and aspire to be GREAT!
