Student Registration

Enrollment Information for New Students:

When enrolling a student in a Bastrop ISD school, parents or guardians should bring:

  • Birth certificate;
  • Social Security Card;
  • Up-to-date immunization records (we cannot enroll a student who is not current on immunizations);
  • Proof of residence in BISD -- a utility bill, lease agreement, or mortgage agreement. If you are unable to provide sufficient proof of residency because you are currently living with someone who is the actual BISD resident and there is not an electric, gas, water bill, or lease agreement in your name, the BISD resident will need to complete a Host Family Form (must be notarized) stating you live in their home. These forms are available at BISD central office and also on the campuses;
  • Most recent report card for students in grades 6-9; unofficial transcript for students in grades 10-12;
  • Previous campus withdrawal form;
  • Parent/legal guardian’s government issued photo identification (such as a driver’s license).

     Returning students will receive registration materials the first week of school.
