- student's birth certificate
- student's social security card;
- Up-to-date immunization records (view the required/recommended immunizations);
- proof of residence in BISD -- a utility bill, lease agreement, or mortgage agreement. If you are unable to provide sufficient proof of residency because you are currently living with someone who is the actual BISD resident and there is not an electric, gas, water bill, or lease agreement in your name, the BISD resident will need to complete a Host Family Form (must be notarized) stating you live in their home. These forms are available at the BISD service center and also on the campuses;
- Most recent report card for students in grades 6-9; unofficial transcript for students in grades 10-12;
- Previous campus withdrawal form;
- Parent/legal guardian’s government issued photo identification (such as a driver’s license).
When enrolling a student in a Bastrop ISD school, if you live in a shelter, in a motel or transitional housing, in an abandoned building, car, campground, on the street, or in a temporary foster with an adult who is not your parent or legal guardian, you do not need to provide the following to enroll in school:
- proof of residence
- immunization records or a TB skin test result
- birth certificate
- school records
- legal guardianship papers

Enrollment Information for Pre-Kindergarten:
The 2011 - 2012 Pre-K applications will be available during District-Wide Registration on August 4, 2011. Please contact the campus your child is zoned to attend if you need further information on the Pre-K program.
