James Allen, President
James Allen received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Sam Houston State University and has lived in Bastrop for the past five years. Mr. Allen and his wife, Pat, are the parents of three children: Logan, Payne and Lannie.
Mr. Allen is an agent for State Farm in Bastrop. Before becoming a business owner in 2002, Allen spent the previous 12 years with Stewart & Stevenson in Houston as a Sales Force Productivity Manager, as well as other sales positions.
James Allen has served as a trustee on the Barbers Hill School Board. He vacated his seat in 2002 to relocate his family to Bastrop. James’ volunteer work consists of the Bastrop and Smithville Chambers of Commerce. James is also an Executive Committee member of the Bastrop Sportsman’s group.
