Curriculum and Instruction - General Information

The Department of Curriculum and Instruction serves to support quality teaching and learning for all students and staff in the school district. The primary responsibilities of this department include:

• Developing aligned, rigorous, and relevant curriculum and assessment for all grade levels and courses
• Supporting the campus leadership and staff in the implementation of the written, taught, and assessed curriculum
• Providing and supporting high quality staff development for all campuses in the district that is research-based and is designed based on identified instructional needs
• Overseeing the development, coordination, implementation and evaluation of all federal, state, and local programs/initiatives
