Call for Grant Proposals

A fresh approach to an old challenge?

A creative way to enhance student learning?

A great idea in need of resources?

Preparations for the next round of grants—for 2008-09 school year programs or projects and to be awarded in May—is now in progress.  Generally, grants of up to $500 will be awarded for programs or projects initiated by individual teachers, librarians, nurses, or adminstrators; grants of up to $1000, to programs or projects by campus teams.  The number of grants to be awarded is limited only by the imagination of the submitting teachers and administrators and by Foundation funds available.

But it all depends on teacher and administrators…to conceptualize the innovative solution, to complete and submit the grant application prior to the April 1 deadline, to implement approved projects and to perform an end-of-project evaluation that, in part, assesses the the prospect for broader implementation within the district.
