The district currently includes one high school, two middle schools, two intermediate schools, six elementary schools and an alternative high school. The Bastrop Independent School District is located approximately 30 miles southeast of Austin in the picturesque Lost Pines of Central Texas. Murray and Womack named to Leadership Texas Class
Allison Murray, Partners in Education Coordinator and Jennifer Womack, Executive Director of Curriculum, Instruction & Assessment, both for Bastrop ISD, have been selected to join an elite network of more than 2,500 women as members of the Leadership Texas Class of 2010.
